STOPTPBER is a public health campaign
initiated by ASH and supported by the Ministry of Health.
Protecting the privacy and personal data of
the visitors to the STOPTOBER website - www.stoptobernz.co.nz (Website) is of the utmost importance to
us. This Privacy Policy (Policy)
governs the collection and use of your Personal Information by us in connection
with your access and use of the Website and is to inform you as a visitor to
and/or user of the Website about what Personal Information we collect when you
visit the Website, how we use the Personal Information, whether the Personal Information
is disclosed and the ways in which we protect your privacy.
When you provide Personal Information to
us, you are deemed to have consented to the collection, storage, disclosure,
and use of your Personal Information by us in a manner disclosed in this
Policy.
We want you to feel secure when visiting the
Website. We are committed to respecting your privacy. However, if you do not agree to be bound
by the Policy, please do not use the Website and provide Personal Information
to us.
This Policy only covers the Website. It

What is Personal Information?

details, including, without limitation, information about your use of the Website. Personal Information also includes
demographic information such as date of birth, gender, geographic area and
preferences when such information is linked to other personal information that
identifies you.

Information does not include ‘aggregate’
information, which is data we collect about the use of the Website or about a
group or category of products, services or users, from which individual
identities or other Personal Information has been removed. In other words, information about how
you use a service may be collected and combined with information about how
others use the same service. Aggregate data helps us understand trends and our
Website users' needs so that we can better develop our Website. This Policy in no way restricts or
limits our collection and use, including sharing with partners or third

sevice on the Website which may contain Personal Information. For example, we

information and how this information will be used. It is completely up to you

we use the Personal Information?
In general, we use the
Personal Information we collect to facilitate your use of, and our
administration and operation of, the Website. We may also use
data for other purposes, which we would describe to you at the point we collect
the information.
If you provide feedback on our Website we
will only use it to develop and improve the Website. We will keep the actual
feedback for six months after which it will be deleted but analysis of feedback
may be kept.
If you provide Personal Information, for
instance to order or access particular products or services, we may, from time
to time contact you with extra support to help you, find out how useful our
support has been or talk about ways in which our offering can be improved.

the Linked Sites is provided directly to that third party at your own risk and
is subject to that third party's privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content
or privacy and security practices and policies of Linked Sites. Hyperlinks from our Website to third
party websites are provided for your convenience. We encourage you to learn about their
privacy and security practices and policies before providing such third party
websites with any Personal Information.

Protection
and storage of Personal Information
ASH endeavours to:

steps to ensure Personal Information collected and used is accurate, complete
and up to date;

permanently de-identify Personal Information if it is no longer needed for any
purpose; and

security of your Personal Information on our Website. You should understand
